Biographical Information[edit]
Brother of Joe Heving, catcher Johnnie Heving played eight years in the majors. Several years older than Joe, Johnnie came up a decade earlier.
Johnnie had one at-bat in the 1931 World Series.
He played on the 1926 Toledo Mud Hens under manager Casey Stengel. Heving managed the Fort Worth Cats for part of 1935.
