Biographical information

John Zarcone was 20-13 in three years as a minor league pitcher. He debuted with the 1954 Mayfield Clothiers and went 13-9 with a 4.18 ERA. In '55, John went 7-4, 2.92 for the St. Cloud Rox. On May 29, he threw a no-hitter against the Aberdeen Pheasants. Two years later, he had no decisions in two outings for the Springfield Giants.

Personal Recollection

John Zarcone was a pitcher for the 1955 St. Cloud Rox, and I believe it was his second year in pro baseball. He also pitched a 13 - 0 no-hitter for St. Cloud that year. He was from Long Island. -- User:Pitcher53
