Biographical Information[edit]
Pittsburgh native John Wehner spent most of his major league career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. On October 1, 2000, he hit the final home run in the history of Three Rivers Stadium.
In 2003 and 2004 Wehner was a coach for the Altoona Curve.
In 2005, Wehner rejoined the club as a broadcaster.
Notable Achievement[edit]
- Won a World Series with the Florida Marlins in 1997 (he did not play in the World Series)
