Biographical Information[edit]
From 1984 to 1990, John Verhoeven ran the Grand Slam USA Baseball Academy in Anaheim, CA.
He was the pitching coach at California State University, Dominguez Hills (1991-1994), Pepperdine University (1996), and Loyola Marymount University (1997). He was the head coach at Biola University from 1998 to 2013, taking the school to the NAIA College World Series in 2001, 2003, and 2005.
