Biographical Information[edit]
John Schulian has been a sportswriter and author. He has written for the Chicago Sun-Times, The Washington Post, the Chicago Daily News, the Philadelphia Daily News and Sports Illustrated. He has since shifted to screenwriting and created the popular character and series "Xena: Warrior Princess."
He has written multiple books, including fiction and non-fiction. One baseball offering was Twilight of the Long-Ball Gods: Dispatches from the Disappearing Heart of Baseball (2014).
He played high school baseball and football.
