Biographical Information

John Rosengren is a writer who published a number of books about the history of baseball, such as Hammerin' Hank, George Almighty and the Say Hey Kid (2008) and The Fight of Their Lives (2014) which were both nominated and were finalists for the Casey Award. His biography on Hank Greenberg called Hank Greenberg: The Hero of Heroes (2013) was also highly acclaimed.

He has also written books on other sports, such as football and hockey, and articles for a number of magazines such as Sports Illustrated and The Atlantic.
