Biographical Information[edit]
John McGlone played three years in the majors, mostly at third base. Not a strong hitter, he cleared .200 only in one of the three seasons.
The New York Times of March 2, 1892 stated that he was present at the baseball meetings at the Fifth Avenue Hotel.
