Biographical Information[edit]
John Grisham is a prolific and best-selling author of crime fiction. In his first foray into non-fiction, he wrote The Innocent Man (2006), chronicling the murder trial, conviction and eventual release of former minor league player Ron Williamson. He also wrote the screenplay for and produced the 2004 film Mickey and contributed to the book Dudy Noble Field: A Celebration of MSU Baseball.
He served as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1983 to 1990.
