Biographical Information

John Francis pitched in the minor leagues from 1948 to 1953.

The hurler won over 10 games twice, going 16-15 with a 4.23 ERA in 38 games (28 starts) for the Seminole Ironmen in 1950 and 10-14 with a 6.84 ERA in 39 games (8 starts) for the Texas City Texans in 1953.

He was 39-51 in 175 games overall.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
