Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder John Donahue played over 1,100 minor league games, but his major league career consisted of a ten-game cup of coffee with the Boston Red Sox at the tail end of the 1923 season. He was a hometown boy, as his birthplace of Roxbury, MA is part of the city of Boston.
