John Daurity

John Daurity was a longtime college coach.

Daurity played in the 1969 NAIA College World Series. He coached Union High School in 1970 and started the Northwestern High School baseball program in 1971. From 1975-1980, he was head coach at Lancaster High School. He then was head coach of Wofford College from 1981-1985. He became the first baseball coach of University of South Carolina Upstate in 1986 and went 181-89-1 in six seasons.

From 1992-1995, Daurity coached Campbell University, then taught at Harnett Central High School and taught and coached at Socastee High School.
