John Dagenhard holds the record for the most career innings (11) by a pitcher with an ERA of 0.00, although he was charged with 2 unearned runs. He pitched two games in the majors for the 1943 Boston Braves, getting the win for one of them.
Also in 1943 he won 19 games for Hartford. One newspaper account referred to him as Johnny.
Dagenhard had been at Ohio State University in 1936-38.
