Biographical Information[edit]
John Conway was an umpire in the National League for one season, in 1906. He was a busy man that year, working 155 games and leading the circuit with 20 ejections. Working in the Eastern League in 1907, he was assaulted by Tim Flood, who was banned from the league as a result.
