Biographical Information[edit]
John Caneira pitched eight times with the California Angels between 1977 and 1978, going 2-2, 4.71 in 36 1/3 innings. He was a member of the Silver Medal-winning Team USA at the 1971 Pan American Games, the Bronze-winning US in the 1973 Intercontinental Cup and the Gold-Medal-winning US at the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series.
