Biographical Information[edit]
John Barrett played eight games for the Brooklyn Atlantics of the National Association in 1872. In 1871 and 1872 he played for the Burnsides club of Brooklyn, and the Brooklyn Keystones in 1874-1878. He also played with a club from Hartford, CT in 1878, but then disappeared completely after that and nothing is known of his later life.
There was also a Bill Barrett around at the same time, but apparently he was a different player.
