Biographical Information[edit]
John Anquillare has been a college coach.
Anquillare hit .455 in college, putting him among the top 10 in NCAA Division II history. He played Major League Fast Pitch softball from 1966-1984 and was inducted into the ASA National Softball Hall of Fame in 1988. From 1984-1998, Anquillare was assistant coach at New Haven. He became head coach of the University of Bridgeport in 2004 and had won 93 games after six seasons there. He was named East Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2007.
