Joel Pulgar was the starting third baseman for the Ecuadorian national team in the 2013 Bolivarian Games and also played the corner outfield. He hit .138/.138/.207 yet managed to lead his team with four runs and five RBI in seven games as they won the Bronze Medal; he fielded .889.
