Biographical Information

The younger brother of Jose Lima, pitcher Joel Lima has played two years in the Dominican Summer League for the DSL Dodgers through 2009. Joel signed in February 2008 with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was 2-2 with two saves and a 2.52 ERA for the '08 DSL Dodgers with only 5 walks in 39 1/3 IP. In 2009, he went 2-1 with two saves and a 2.97 ERA for the same club.
