Joel Holst
Joel Holst has won over 500 games at the college level,
Holst played both baseball and football while at Coe College. Holst was head coach at West Delaware High School for four years, going 100-50. He then was recruiting coordinator and pitching coach at Northwest Missouri State while earning his master's degree. He was head coach at Loras College from 1991-1995, posting a 100-80 record.
In 1996, Holst joined Wartburg College as head coach. He took the team to the 2000 Division III College World Series, where they placed 6th, and to the 2005 Division III College World Series, where they finished fifth. He was 460-212-2 after 15 years at Wartburg. Holst resigned just days before the 2023 season was set to begin.
