Biographical Information

Joe Samuels was in the majors for two games with the 1930 Detroit Tigers. He also had five seasons in the minors, including parts of two with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He pitched for Montreal in 1933.

A biography of Joe [1] indicates that his career was shortened by arm soreness. He had been a successful semi-pro pitcher in Scranton, PA before his pro career.
