Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Roa pitched in the major leagues from 1995 to 2004, although he was out of the big leagues between 1998 and 2001. He moved around quite a lot during his career, as he pitched for six different teams in his six major league seasons, and was a member of five other organizations besides these. He was involved in three multiplayer trades between 1991 and 1996, all of which involved big name major leaguers such as Alejandro Pena, Jeromy Burnitz, Paul Byrd, Jeff Kent and Matt Williams.
According to one source, his nickname is "The Roa Constrictor".
