Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Joe Reardon played in the minor leagues in 1945 and 1946 and from 1948 to 1954. He began his career at 17 years old.
He won at least 10 games three times. In 1949, he was 12-7 with a 4.43 ERA in 26 games between the Pawtucket Slaters and Evansville Braves. In 1950, he was 15-7 with a 3.42 mark for the Hagerstown Braves and in 1951, he went 10-14 with a 3.96 ERA for the Atlanta Crackers.
Overall, he was 61-54 in nine seasons.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
