Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Phillips coached college baseball for 20 years.
An All-Conference first baseman at Northwestern Oklahoma State, he remained there as assistant coach from 1984-1988. He then was head coach from 1989-2008. He set a school record with 49 wins in 2001, reaching a ranking of 7th nationally in the NAIA. After finishing his job as head coach, he became an academic adviser at NWOSU.
