Biographical information[edit]
Joe Padilla was a National League umpire in 1995.
He attended umpiring school in Florida and later umpired at the collegiate level, as well as one season in the Alaska Baseball League.
During the 1995 major league umpire strike, he was called upon to umpire during spring training and was invited to be part of an umpire crew to start the regular season. He umpired his first big league game on April 26th and his last on May 2nd of that year. In total, he umpired in seven regular season major league games.
