Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Ogrodowski, at age 18, was the youngest player on the Boston Braves in 1925. He pitched one inning, giving up several runs. The oldest player on the team was Rube Marquard, who, at 38, was more than twice Joe's age.
Joe is not the only "Ogrodowski" to have appeared in the majors since his brother, Bruce Ogrodowski, a catcher, played in the 1930s.
