Biographical Information

Joe Neale was in the American Association in 1886 and 1887, then went back to the minors, and came back up again to the American Association in 1890 and 1891, this time pitching more effectively.

Neale was part of a group of major leaguers who played in Cuba after the 1891 season.

He moved around in the minors, rarely playing for the same team twice.
