Joe Ferrone

Joe Ferrone has been a scout for a number of years. An infielder in college, he played in the Italian minors in 1990. He was an area scout for the Montréal Expos in 1993-1994 and for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1995-1998. He was the Dodgers' West Coast Scouting Supervisor from 1999-2002. He was an area scout for the Detroit Tigers from 2003-2007, then joined the Pittsburgh Pirates as a major league scout. In December 2010, he moved to the Milwaukee Brewers as national cross-checker.
