Biographical Information[edit]
Jimmie Keenan pitched two years in the majors, both times for the Philadelphia Phillies. He was one of the youngest players on the team both years.
Jimmie was 5 ' 7 ", which was short for the time. Most of the starting rotation was at least 6 ' tall.
Keenan, Jocko Halligan and Wilbur Murdoch are the three major leaguers (through 2008) who were born in Avon, NY.
