Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Jim Zerilla played in the minors in 1966-1967, having been drafted by the New York Mets in the 43rd round of the 1966 amateur draft. He later returned for a game with the Walla Walla Padres at age 36 in 1980. In his return, he tossed 9 innings of one-run ball to earn the victory.
- Was the baseball coach at the University of Louisville from 1974 to 1979.
- Managed the GCL Padres in 1981 and the Salem Redbirds in 1982.
- He was later a scout for the San Diego Padres (1980-1981) and Chicago Cubs (1983-?).
