Biographical Information

Jim Yanko was head coach of San Joaquin Delta College from 2000-2006 while also teaching special education at Lincoln High School. In 2003, at age 35, he was diagnosed with cancer and given less than a year to live. He remained coach then was pitching coach at the University of the Pacific. As of 2013, he was still alive.
