Jim Waller
Jim K. Waller
Jim Waller was a replacement umpire who worked one game when the regular umpires were on strike at the beginning of the 1979 season. Contrary to most of the replacement umpires hired at that time, he had some professional experience in organized baseball, having umpired in the Western Carolinas League from 1975 to 1977. His one major league game was in Atlanta, GA.
