Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Mansilla was an Olympic manager.
Mansilla, an American whose parents were Italian, hit .333/.444/.528 in 31 games for Rimini in 1974, with 7 passed balls in 22 games. He was 8 for 20 with a double, walk and four dingers for the same club in 1975. He managed Rimini to four titles from 1975-1981. He then guided the Italian national team to the Gold in the 1983 European Championship and in the 1984 Amateur World Series and 1984 Olympics. Returning to the US, he coached for Miami Dade College.
