Jim Koerner is a college coach.

Koerner signed with the Richmond Roosters out of college but did not play for them. From 2001-2003, he was head coach of Medaille College. He spent 2004 as an assistant at Monmouth University then served as an assistant at Marshall University from 2004-2006. From 2007-2011, he was assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. He was appointed head coach of North Carolina Central University for 2012.
