Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Gantt has been a college coach for over two decades.
Gantt hit .322 with a .482 as a college senior to make All-Conference at third base in 1988. He was an assistant coach at Catawba from 1990-1996 then became head coach. He was 327-196 in his first 10 seasons. He set a school record with 42 wins in 2004, then topped it by going 47-14 in 2006. He was named South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year in 1999, 2004 and 2006.
