Jim Dyer

Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Dyer was on Team USA when they won Bronze in the 1940 Amateur World Series. He had played baseball, basketball and football at Bowdoin College. He later was coach of Presque Isle High School for 15 years; he also was assistant principal, chairman of the math department, a high school basketball official and an umpire over the years. He is in the Maine Sports Hall of Fame.
