Biographical Information

Jim Devlin played one game in the majors in 1944.

Devlin was born in Plains, PA and played minor league ball beginning in 1940 at age 17. He played 11 seasons in the minors and came up to the majors to play one game on April 27, 1944 at age 21 for manager Lou Boudreau.

He is not to be confused with two 19th Century players also named Jim Devlin.
