Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Cook played in eight games for the 1903 Chicago Cubs, batting .154 with three runs scored. His minor league career lasted through 1911. In 1906, he hit .343 with Pueblo. He was at the University of Illinois with two pitchers, Cy Falkenberg and Carl Lundgren. Lundgren broke in with the Cubs in 1902; Falkenberg broke in with Pittsburgh in 1903.
