Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Jesse Carlson was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 15th round of the 2002 amateur draft and reached the majors with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2008. His rookie year was delightful, finishing 7-2 with a 2.25 ERA and 2 saves in 69 games. His sophomore year was not so good, with a 1-6 record and 4.66 ERA in 73 games. After 20 appearances in 2010, his big league days were done, last spotted in the Boston Red Sox organization in 2012.
