Biographical Information[edit]
Jesús Colomé was a veteran of ten big league seasons and is the uncle of Alex Colome. Doing much of his work with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, he appeared in 341 games with 6 saves and a 4.69 ERA. His best years were back-to-back 61 game seasons with the Washington Nationals, including a 5-1, 3.82 season in 2006. In the 2008 Caribbean Series, he recorded a win over Tigres de Aragua while allowing 2 runs, 3 hits and walks for Tigres del Licey.
