Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Jerry White started all five games of the 1981 NLCS for the Montreal Expos and hit .313 with a home run in the series.
In 1989, he played for the West Palm Beach Tropics of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He played in 72 games and hit .343 with 6 homers and 54 RBI for the club. In 1990, White played for the Fort Myers Sun Sox of the SPBA. He played in 23 games, batting .264 with 13 RBI before the league folded.
White was coach of the Fort Myers Miracle in 1994 and 1996. He served three stints on the Minnesota Twins coaching staff between 1995 and 2012.
