Biographical Information[edit]
Jerry Turner spent most of his major league career as a back-up outfielder with the San Diego Padres. He was an effective pinch-hitter from the left side of the plate, amassing 75 pinch hits including 10 home runs during his big league service. Turner's PH batting splits of .263/.335/.407 exceeded his overall career splits of .257/.319/.387.
