Biographical Information

Jeremy Hernandez didn't allow a single earned run in his initial cup of coffee for the San Diego Padres in 1991, when he made 9 relief appearances. He didn't allow a run in his first two appearances of 1992, either, bringing his scoreless streak to start his career to 11 games. His second career strikeout was future Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg.
