Jeff Smith has been a college coach.

Smith was 69-67 as head coach of Tennessee Wesleyan University from 1996?1997?-1999 and was 225-123 at Volunteer State Community College from 2000-2005 (he coached Steve Delabar there). He was assistant at the University of Montevallo (2007-2010) and the University of West Georgia (2011-2019) then became head coach at West Georgia.
