Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Peterek has been inducted into the Lake Michigan College Athletic Hall of Fame. He played there from 1980 to 1982, and was the first major leaguer to have come from the college. He also pitched at Western Kentucky University and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
He played five years in the minors, as well as coming to the majors with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1989. Arm troubles ended his career.
In 1989, he was 26 years old, two years older than catcher B.J. Surhoff.
As of 2003, he was a real estate agent.
