Biographical Information

Jeff Katz was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 9th round of the 2004 Amateur Draft. He pitched for the GCL Braves in 2004 (0-1, 5.11, 1.95 WHIP) and 2005 (2-0, 9.64, 2.50 WHIP), and the Danville Braves in 2006 (4.15, 1.90 WHIP). He was 2-1 with a 6.18 ERA in 30 games as a pro, allowing 55 hits and 37 walks in 43 2/3 IP while striking out 46.
