Biographical Information

Pitcher Jeff Innis was signed as a 13th round pick in the 1983 amateur draft by the New York Mets and scout Terry Ryan. He was a low sidearm/semi-submarine hurler who relied on curves, sinkers, sliders, and even the occasional knuckleball. His older brother Brian Innis pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers system. He died at age 59 in 2022 following a long battle with cancer.
