Relief pitcher Jeff Huber had a professional career that spanned the 1990s. He was taken by the San Diego Padres in the 27th round of the 1989 amateur draft. Notable seasons include 1992, when he won 9 games and had a 2.83 ERA in 55 relief appearances, 1993, when he went 7-2 with 21 saves in 57 games and 1996, when he had 17 saves and a 1.18 ERA in 35 games split between affiliated and independent baseball.

Overall, Huber went 37-36 with a 4.36 ERA in 332 games (32 starts). In 555 1/3 innings, he 409 strikeouts and 183 walks.
