Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Dedmon was signed after being picked in the secondary phase of the 1980 amateur draft by the Atlanta Braves and scouts Bob Wadsworth and Herb Hippauf. In the January 1979 amateur draft, he had been selected 7th overall by the Houston Astros, but did not sign.
