Biographical Information

Jay Tibbs had the distinction of breaking the historic streak of 21 losses by the Baltimore Orioles at the start of the 1988 season: on May 2nd, he pitched 8 2/3 innnings in a start against the Texas Rangers and was credited with the O's 9-4 victory.
