Biographical Information[edit]
Jay Martin was a college coach. His father J.C. Martin played in the majors.
Martin played baseball, golf and soccer at Wheaton, setting the school record for hits in 1979. He remained there as an assistant coach in 1980. From 1985-1990, he was head soccer coach at Malone College. He was head baseball coach at Manchester College from 1994-1996. From 1997-2003, he was head coach for Malone University's baseball team. He later returned to Wheaton to coach golf.
